Only 5 more days until our second bundle of joy is due! Jacob, Hailey, and I are SO excited to meet our new addition. We have the nursery ready, the swing set up, and Jacob and I are the proud new owners of a 2011 Honda CR-V. We had to sell my Civic and get something a little bigger since our family is growing :] I have all these different emotions running through me as this pregnancy has been much different than my first. I am definitely ready to have my body back to a normal size as I feel like I am ten times bigger with this baby than I was with Hailey! I am also very anxious to see how Hailey responds to Teagan. We have been practicing being gentle and she tells me all the time that she is going to be mommy's helper. We have been trying to do as many things the three of us as we can before Hailey's life changes! She has been the center of our attention for the past two years and things are definitely going to be different once her baby sister gets here. We spent a few hours at this awesome place in Roseville called Wacky Tacky. Its a giant indoor play place with slides, ball pits, tunnels, and much more. Hailey had a BLAST and even got Daddy to go in a play with her for a while :]We also spent a beautiful day up at Apple Hill and the weather was perfect! We walked through all the little shops, watched the fishies in the pond, and of course got apples with caramel! We wanted to take Hailey on the pony ride but I guess we went up a week too early and they were closed :( she didn't know any better but I was pretty sad about that! After a few hours there we decided to head home. Hailey of course passed out on the way back and when she woke up we surprised her by being at the Pumpkin Patch. She had even more fun there that she did the previous year. This year she wanted to pull the wagon instead of riding in it. We saw all sorts of animals and told Hailey we could get whatever pumpkin she could lift up and give to Daddy. Let me tell you, she is one STRONG little lady! I could not believe some of the pumpkins she was picking up :] Anyways, we had a fabulous couple of family days. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful little munchkin and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of number two. The next time you hear from me on here I will probably have TWO adorable girlies at home :] Woohoo!
