In late September Jacob, Hailey, and I bought a house! We had been in the process of looking for about five months when we finally found a house we fell in love with. Its a three bedroom, one bathroom, on a quarter of an acre. We have a huge backyard for Hailey to run and play in and have plenty of room to expand when the time is right.

Hailey helped us carve pumpkins and went Trick-or-Treating this Halloween. She had a blast at the pumpkin patch looking at the animals, riding on the wagon, and picking out her perfect pumpkin. We dressed her up as a little witch-fairy! We had planned on only taking her to a few houses just for fun and probably ended up going to about 30 homes! Everytime we walked up to a house and they answered the door they would say how cute or beautiful Hailey was. She of course, being the ham that she is would smile and say cheese. They would give her some candy and then she would toss it into her bucket and say "bye-bye." She ended up getting 5 king-size candy bars and filled up her entire pumpkin bucket.

A little over a week ago we got a new puppy! Hailey's Uncle Josh got it for her as an early Christmas present and she absolutely loves him. He is a black lab and we named him Devaki (which means black in Indian.) He is very loving and playful. Josh got a puppy for himself as well and he has been staying here at our house. It has been a little hectic working/playing with the two pups and Hailey but we are having fun.

Jacob recently wrote an essay and s hoping to get a supervisor position at UPS where he works in the evenings. He is enojoying his job and looking forward to moving up in the company. My level four team is having an amazing season. Two weekends ago we had our Zone meet where my girls took FIRST place as a team. They were thrilled and I loved seeing the smiles on their cute, little, faces. We are now training hard and getting ready for State Championships in a few weeks. I have the most rewarding job. It is a lot of fun for me to see things from the coaches point of view after already being a gymnast myself.

Anyways, this next week is Thanksgiving and we are looking forward to spending time with our families. We are also very excited to meet Theresa, Josh's girlfriend who is visiting from Santa Barbara. I cannot wait to spend some girl time with her and get to know her. Christmas is right around the corner too, this is just the best time of the year. This is what our family has been up to and I will be sure to update after the holidays.

Next Tuesday our baby girl will be one year old! I cannot believe how quickly the time passes. Jacob and I are planning her Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday party and I have mixed emotions. I absolutely love watching her grow and learn new things everyday but miss those days when I used to be able to sit on the couch and just hold her in my arms. The only time that happens now is when she is sleeping! She is incredbily smart and amazes us each day. Recently Hailey has learned the words; wow, papa, and baby. If you ask her how old she is she will hold up her little pointer finger. She picks up on things so quickly its incredible.
We are buying a house in Orangevale and should be able to move in by the end of this month. We are so excited, the house is super cute and perfect for our family. We will post pictures once we are all moved in and settled.Tomorrow my level four team has their very first competition. I think that I may be more excited than my girls! They have been training so hard for the past nine months and now it is time for them to show the judges what they can do. Go Tricks!

Hailey was in her first Gymnastics show Tricks - Tumble in the Jungle 2010. Some of our family came to watch her and she had a blast showing off for them. She went up and down some cheese mats, held onto the monkey cars, bounced on the trampoline with an alligator, played in the foam pit, and got her very first blue ribbon. She had such a good time with all her little baby friends; Magnolia, Mitchell, Aiden, and Supratick. We have a little performer on our hands!
My very first Mother's Day was excellent. We went over to my Aunt's house and had a big bbq with all my family. I could not have asked for anything more. My 22nd birthday also just passed. Jacob and Hailey surprised me with a little get together at our place when I got home from work. Jacob and I have also been super busy house hunting for the past few months.... We recently put everything on hold because he decided he wanted to apply for the CHP academy. The testing begins in a couple months and then we will know if he has been accepted or not. Other than that I have been enjoying coaching my Level Four Gymnastics team and hanging out with family. Our baby girl will be NINE months next week and I cannot believe it. We are having so much fun watching her grow and learn everyday. She has been trying to walk for a few weeks now and I feel like any day now she is going to go for it. Today she learned how to clap and thinks it is just about the best thing in the world (besides food or course!) Hopefully the weather will stay nice and we will get to take her swimming in the next few weeks. She absolutely loves bath-time so I can only imagine how much fun she will have in the pool!

Everyone says when you have child to enjoy each day because time flies...and wow it is so true. It's March and our little girl will be SIX months old this week. It really feels like she was just born yesterday. Our family has not been up to a whole lot the past few months. Hailey started her very first gymnastics class and absolutely loves it. She rolls down the wedge mats, swings in the giant swing, jumps on the trampoline, and plays with the parachute. I go with her every week and Jacob comes with us when he does not have work. She smiles and laughs the whole time she is there, it's so adorable to watch. She also loves to see the other babies! We recently took Hailey to the park for the first time. She liked going down the slide, swinging, and just being outside where she has so much to look at. Jacob and I have slowly began to search for a house. Hopefully these next few months we will speed it up and maybe even find something. We have way too much stuff for our little two-bedroom apartment and want to have more room for Hailey when she starts crawling (which will be SOON) and walking. Anyways, life is great and we are having so much fun being parents!

Christmas time was crazy-busy for our family but we had an excellent time and were spoiled by our families. Christmas Eve we went to Grandma Koehl's for dinner and gifts. Jacob's whole family was there including Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Bart. It took us a few hours to open up gifts but we all had so much fun and got lots of neat things. After that we went to the Candle Light Service at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church like we do every year. Then Christmas day we woke up and celebrated on our own for a little while. That afternoon we went to my parents house where the three of us got another load of presents. We ate dinner with my family and played a few games. My Aunt Debbie, Uncle George, and Cousins, (Brandon and Austin) opened Hailey a college fund and are going to put money in it twice a year. Overall we had the best Christmas ever thanks to our incredible families and friends. They all mean the world to us and we are so blessed to have them in our lives. We had a pretty calm New Years. We went over to my parents house where we ate dinner, played games, and just hung out. We celebrated at 9:00pm, East Coast time because we did not want to have Hailey out and about. After that we came home and watched the Countdown on TV. Hailey almost made it to 12:00am with us but was just too tired and eventually fell asleep in her swing at 11:30pm! It was a great end to 2009 for the Rennick Family :]
