2011 is here and we are more excited than ever to see what the future holds for or family. Jacob continues to work at Olive Garden and UPS, both part time. We are hoping that he gets promoted to supervisor (at UPS) sometime this year! I am still coaching at Tricks and loving every moment of it. We just started our new team season and I will be coaching levels 4, 5, and 6 with one of my best friends Heidi. Hailey is growing like a weed :] and now has a mouth full of teeth. We recently took down her crib and put up a toddler bed. She still loves Mickey Mouse but Tinker Bell is now a close tie for her favorite.
We had a great Christmas and New Years with both sides of our family. Hailey was spoiled by everyone as usual and had tons of fun opening all her gifts. She even opened a few that were not hers because she enjoyed tearing the paper so much. Jacob took my wedding ring and the promise ring that he had given me while we were dating and had them made into one ring. The promise ring is the new wedding band. It is absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. For her years we visited with Jacob's family for a while then went to my parents house. We had snack and hung out with my grandparents. We also had a ping-pong AND tetris tournament! It was a lot of fun but we decided to head home before midnight. Hailey, Jacob, and I watched the ball drop on TV and then we let Hailey bang on pots and pans.
Our puppy is doing well and growing quickly. He is still doing great with Hailey and she absolutely adores him. Hailey also got to pick out a beta fish for her bedroom and she thinks it is one of the coolest things ever. She named him fish :] but when she says it, it sounds like shish. We have not been up to a whole lot besides enjoying life as a family and living each day as it comes. Our family little family it perfect and we could not ask for anything more!
PS - Hailey is pretty much obsessed with her Auntie Jorgie or JoJo as she calls her. Her Auntie Riss is moving on up though :] Whenever I ask her if she wants to go see Grandma and Papa she says "risssss!"
